If you are working on SCCM custom reports, you may have wished that there should be a reference out that you could use as reference to navigate through the countless database views available in SQL Server for SCCM. There is in fact such a reference, published by Microsoft last November 2016

Download the SCCM ConfigMgr SQL Views reference from here: https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/SCCM-Configmgr-2012-R2-SQL-5fefdd3b

Gotcha! SCCM RSP Fails Due to Inability to Find SSRS

leave a comment »

Behavior

You installed SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) on your Primary Site Server, with the intention to install Reporting Services Point (RSP). In the RSP installation, SCCM fails to find the locally installed SSRS. The drop-down box Reporting Services server instance shows blank when you pull down the drop-down arrow, as shown in the pictureSCCM RSP Error 1

Cause

Too high User Account Control (UAC) settings may prevent the RSP installation to detect the locally installed SSRS.

Resolution

Bring down the User Account Control settings to Never notify and repeat the RSP installation. The installation should succeed.

SCCM RSP Error 2b
